1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the GolfEsporte mobile application for Android (the “App”). The App is published by:

2. Information stored on your device

To provide its features, the App stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Profile details you choose to enter: display name, experience level, preferred tee, favourite club and main golf goal.
• Rounds and scorecards: course, date, tee, hole scores, putts, fairways and greens in regulation.
• Shot plans and results: planned distance, club, lie, target, wind, shot type, the recorded result and any notes you write.
• Personal goals, weekly session registrations and app settings (such as in-app reminders).

This information is saved in the App’s private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no access to it.

3. Information we do not collect

The App does not:

• require an account, login or registration;
• connect to the internet or to our servers;
• collect your name, email address, phone number or other contact details;
• access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files;
• use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking tools;
• contain advertisements, in-app purchases, gambling or real-money features;
• share or sell any data to third parties.

4. Permissions

The App does not request any Android permissions. It does not request internet access.

5. How your information is used

The information stored on your device is used only inside the App to show your scorecards, calculate your personal statistics (such as score trends, putting statistics, club statistics and personal shot accuracy), track your goals and display reminders on the Home screen. All calculations happen on your device.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can remove it at any time by:

• deleting an individual round or goal in the App;
• using Profile and settings → Reset local data to delete all rounds, shots, goals, session registrations and your profile;
• clearing the App’s storage in your Android settings; or
• uninstalling the App, which removes all of its data from your device.

Because we never receive your data, we cannot recover it once it has been deleted.

7. Backups

Android cloud backup is turned off for the App, so your golf data is not uploaded to cloud backup by the App.

8. Security

Your data is kept in the App’s private storage area, which other apps cannot access under Android’s standard security model. We recommend protecting your device with a screen lock.

9. Third-party services

The App does not include any third-party SDKs that collect data. The App is distributed through Google Play. When you download the App, Google may process information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Children’s privacy

The App is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), because no information leaves the device.

11. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Because all data is stored only on your device and under your control, you can exercise these rights directly in the App, as described in section 6. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when the App changes. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
